I believe that art should be available to everyone and not just reserved for people who can afford to pay vast amounts of money to own something original and beautiful. If you want to commission me, but don’t feel that you are able to pay my current hourly rate, please contact me and let me know what you are looking for and we can negotiate a price that’s right for you. I want my artwork to belong to someone who will really care for it.
For most of the art I produce, I can offer prints.
The prices below are based on the price of the original, plus overheads, such as printing, packing and shipping.
Once you have given me details of the subject, size and medium, I can give you a price based on how long I estimate the picture will take. I currently charge £25 an hour. The price won’t change, even if it ends up taking a lot longer than expected. All materials are included and are at cost in most cases.
On average, pencil drawings take around six hours and paintings take around twenty five hours. This can change depending on the complexity of the subject. For example, this small tribute piece took ninety hours because of the detail…
You should find everything you need to know on the Commissions page. Nothing is set in stone until you sign the contract, so if you want to talk over some ideas with no commitment, I’m happy to help.
